As recently as three weeks ago Mr Howard approached Mr Watson with the request to enter into an interim lease arrangement until the proposed trust had been formed and a sale and purchase completed. Westoe's owner, Jim Howard, plans to sell the farm to a trust, which intends to set the property up as an agricultural training farm. The Watsons are faced with dismantling and finding storage for three bridges, a vortex tunnel, 180 full-sized wall panels and countless bodies, coffins and props. In addition to the Watsons, two other full-time and 30 to 40 part-time employees will lose their jobs. They said that despite their best efforts to reach an agreement with the owners of Westoe farm, Mr and Mrs Watson were now forced to tear down and store all the many props and games that make up the Amazing Maze, CornEvil, and the Shearer's Revenge Haunted Woolshed. Operators Beth and Andy Watson said yesterday there appeared to be "no way out" in terms of keeping the attraction running on the site where it was founded seven years ago. In July 2015, Freya graduated from The University of Manchester with a First Class BA History Honours degree. The painting now hangs in the dressing room area at Headingley Cricket Club. In addition, she has donated a painting of Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow to Yorkshire County Cricket Club. This became part of a fundraising event in aid of the charity Cricket Onside.

On a visit to the Cricket Asylum, Andrew Strauss signed his portrait. She later secured wall space at the indoor netting facility The Cricket Asylum, in Sowerby Bridge. This inspired Freya to experiment with painting her favourite players. She painted Headingley Cricket Ground during a Roses match, a painting which she then donated to her local club to raise funds. It was during her gap year when Freya combined two of her passions, cricket and art, that her career as an artist truly began.
